Christopher Donaghy, who was hosting a Super Bowl party on the 3200 block of Bleigh Avenue in his basement, was shot by Ronald Parncutt. Although it assumed to be an accident, Donaghy is the second son of an officer killed in the last month. The gun was the property of an off duty police officer who was attending the party. He laid his loaded 9mm Glock on the table; then Parncutt joked around with the gun and shot Donaghy (related story here). People now question whether the off duty officer should be punished. Based on neighbors,Ronald seemed like a nice guy and not someone who would kill.

This article is very important in my opinion. You know the world is getting bad when those who protect us start to become victims.

There could be a follow-up story to this if another police officer was to be killed or murdered. Another follow-up story could be the aftermath of this incident. For example, what happened to the off-duty police officer.
