Michelle Obama has already been called “fashion’s one woman bailout”. Michelle is taking chances in what she is wearing. During the Whistle Stop train tour in D.C she wore a Maria Cornejo suit. On inauguration day Michelle wore a dress by Isabel Toledo, an esoteric designer. This is an unexpected inaugural choice and sends a definite message. The dress she wore for the inaugural ball designed by Jason Wu, was a white floral detailed dress. Constance White, eBay’s style director said “Michelle is adventurous and taking chances, we’re used to seeing women in Oscar de la Renta because they’re very safe names and safe choices”.

As a result of or in response to this article, women who look up to Michelle Obama or want to be like her may be inspired to dress like her. As a result of this article people might try to go out and find these designers that she is wearing or even the exact outfit. In response people might want to read the articles that are saying what she is wearing and how great she looks in them.
