Pa. woman heard voices telling her to kill mother

In New Salem, 30 year-old Angela Modispaw used a butcher knife to stab her 58 year old mother, Theresa Modispaw on April 11, 2008.

She is also accused of stabbing her brother, Michael Modispaw in the back with a pair of scissors. Police say that she did this because the voices in her head told her to. Michael told about what happen in court Wednesday. She tried to resist the voices by scratching at her wrist and killing her pet hamster, says police. Police say that Angela attacked her mother at 4:15 a.m. Michael says, that she seemed to be in a trance and he tried to calm her and take the knife and the meat cleaver from her.

Angela should be put in a mental intuition. I feel that she is a danger to everyone around her, because she killed her mother and stabbed her brother. The voices in her head seem to have taken over her and make her do harmful things. The writer should have included more information about her background so readers like myself could have a better understanding about Angela.
